FAMILY REUNION
Event Design & Photography
TIMELINE: 30 Days
TEAM SIZE: 3 People
The McCullough/Tobin/Navidomskis Family Reunion brought together generations of relatives for a celebration rooted in connection, storytelling, and shared tradition. To make the experience feel both personal and polished, the family sought a cohesive design system that could unify their printed materials and event keepsakes while also documenting the day itself. Hey Moon created a light brand identity applied across brochures, swag, and custom designs, and captured the four-hour event through professional photography—preserving candid moments and group portraits alike.
The engagement began with developing a modular 1:1 logo that could scale seamlessly across a range of applications, from small keepsakes to larger printed pieces. The color system was inspired directly by the event’s natural surroundings in Farmington, Utah, drawing on a monochromatic palette rooted in earth tones to bring cohesion and authenticity to every design touchpoint. For typography, the system paired Anton as the primary display font with Fenway Park JK as an accent, introducing a subtle sense of personality and voice.
To ensure accessibility and legibility for a diverse family audience, Univers Condensed was chosen for body copy, complementing Anton’s proportions while maintaining clarity across print and digital materials. To extend the brand beyond type and color, Hey Moon incorporated a custom illustration of a lakeside vignette that subtly tied the identity to the event’s location. Applied across a range of swag, the system created a cohesive visual language that was both flexible and memorable, giving the family a set of designs that felt curated and connected.

Hey Moon Collective designed a custom event shirt in the hero Shadow Pine green, featuring a simple front logo in Summer Sky. On the back, a bold illustration of a weathered wood sign by the lake anchored the design, framed by tree silhouettes and grounded by event typography for a striking statement piece.

Set in 100% cotton and the hero Shadow Pine green, the tote featured the full-color event logo as its focal point. The pared-back design drew interest from the palette itself, creating a functional keepsake that was as polished as it was practical. Attendees would use the totes to carry their swag home from the event.
